A little piece of Wonderland, if Wonderland had started on the Western Slope.
The White Jackalope was originally created for my Western Looking Glass collection, my interpretation of Alice in Wonderland through the landscape, folklore, and strange magic of Western Colorado.
Instead of bringing the White Rabbit to the Western Slope, I wanted to imagine what he might have been if he had always belonged here. So the rabbit became a white jackalope, complete with tiny antlers, bright blue eyes, and just enough curiosity to lead you somewhere you probably weren’t planning to go.
This enamel pin is a miniature version of that original character and a tiny invitation to follow your own looking glass.
