Wildflower Fox

from $42.00

There is something magical about seeing a fox in the wild. Usually it’s only for a second, a flash of red moving through the brush before it disappears again.

For this painting, I wanted the fox to feel quiet and grounded while everything around her was allowed to wander. The watercolor blooms, bleeds, and moves through deep greens, reds, pinks, and warm oranges, creating a landscape that feels familiar but not entirely literal. Somewhere between the real Western Slope and the way I remember it.

The original painting is 18 × 15 inches, painted in watercolor on Arches watercolor paper.

This piece is also available in three small, limited-edition print sizes: 8 × 10, 18×15 and 11 × 14 inches. Once these editions are gone, they will not be reprinted.

Available as: Original watercolor, 18 × 15 inches • Limited edition 11 × 14 print • Limited edition 8 × 10 print
