The Fire and Sky Print
Because of the way these original paintings are created and the materials used, the prints from this series are produced as special limited editions.
Each artwork is printed as a museum-quality fine art giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) on beautiful German Hahnemühle paper, a premium archival paper known for its rich surface and exceptional longevity.
The paper itself is one of my favorite parts of the print. It has a soft, buttery texture and a substantial weight, very thick and sturdy (similar to the thickness of cereal box packaging), which makes it a dream to frame and display. Each image is printed in limited editions of 25. Once an edition sells out, no additional prints will be produced.
This series is very special to me, and it was important that the prints carry the same level of care, quality, and presence as the original paintings. This original watercolor painting is part of my Year of the Fire Horse series, a body of work exploring transformation, instinct, and the many ways change begins.
Each print is signed in numerical order, editioned and packed with care. Paintings that originally have the gold leaf added will also be added to the print itself.
Available in the Following Sizes: 8×10, 11 × 14 and 16×20
Painted on BFK paper, this 10 × 15 inch piece reflects the idea that change rarely arrives through force alone. More often, it begins as a quiet pull—an invitation, a curiosity, a subtle seduction toward movement and progression.
In this painting, color and light move fluidly across the paper, suggesting the energy of transformation as something alive and luminous. At the center of the composition, a rose gold leaf moon glows behind the point where the hand meets the horse’s head, emphasizing the moment of connection between human intention and instinctual force. The metallic leaf catches light gently, creating a celestial focal point that reinforces the theme of guidance and awakening.
Rather than resistance, the work embraces the moment when we allow ourselves to be carried forward by change. The layered watercolor washes create radiance and movement, celebrating the beauty of transformation and the natural momentum that follows when we step into a new cycle.
This painting reflects the belief that change is not only powerful—it is magnetic, drawing us toward growth, possibility, and new directions.
