The Fire Horse Rises Print

from $48.00
  • Because of the way these original paintings are created and the materials used, the prints from this series are produced as special limited editions.

  • Each artwork is printed as a museum-quality fine art giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) on beautiful German Hahnemühle paper, a premium archival paper known for its rich surface and exceptional longevity.

  • The paper itself is one of my favorite parts of the print. It has a soft, buttery texture and a substantial weight, very thick and sturdy (similar to the thickness of cereal box packaging), which makes it a dream to frame and display. Each image is printed in limited editions of 25. Once an edition sells out, no additional prints will be produced.

  • This series is very special to me, and it was important that the prints carry the same level of care, quality, and presence as the original paintings. This original watercolor painting is part of my Year of the Fire Horse series, a body of work exploring transformation, instinct, and the many ways change begins.

  • Each print is signed in numerical order, editioned and packed with care. Paintings that originally have the gold leaf added will also be added to the print itself.

Available in the Following Sizes: 8×10, 11 × 14 and 16×20

Painted on BFK paper, this large 22 × 30 inch work depicts The Fire Bronco, a luminous and energetic horse inspired by the landscapes and spirit of Colorado. The bronco stands as a symbol of wild freedom, movement, and the powerful shifts that arise when new cycles begin.

Within the Fire Horse narrative, the bronco represents the moment when change breaks open—when energy can no longer be contained. Color moves across the surface in radiant washes of heat and light, echoing the intensity of flame, sunrise, and the expansive skies of the American West.

This painting was created as an ode to Colorado, where horses, open land, and wide horizons continue to embody independence and resilience. The Fire Bronco reflects that spirit while also suggesting something deeper: a sense of oneness between movement, landscape, and the living energy that connects them.

With its large scale and vibrant color, the work carries a strong presence—celebrating light, motion, and the liberating force of transformation.
