Understanding the Energy of Transformation Print

from $48.00
  • Because of the way these original paintings are created and the materials used, the prints from this series are produced as special limited editions.

  • Each artwork is printed as a museum-quality fine art giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) on beautiful German Hahnemühle paper, a premium archival paper known for its rich surface and exceptional longevity.

  • The paper itself is one of my favorite parts of the print. It has a soft, buttery texture and a substantial weight, very thick and sturdy (similar to the thickness of cereal box packaging), which makes it a dream to frame and display. Each image is printed in limited editions of 25. Once an edition sells out, no additional prints will be produced.

  • This series is very special to me, and it was important that the prints carry the same level of care, quality, and presence as the original paintings. This original watercolor painting is part of my Year of the Fire Horse series, a body of work exploring transformation, instinct, and the many ways change begins.

  • Each print is signed in numerical order, editioned and packed with care. Paintings that originally have the gold leaf added will also be added to the print itself.

Available in the Following Sizes: 8×10, 11 × 14 and 16×20

Painted on Somerset watercolor paper, this 10 × 15 inch piece captures a quiet and intimate moment between Night and the Fire Horse. Rather than movement or ignition, the focus here is tenderness. Night reflects on her relationship with the horse, her hand resting gently in acknowledgment of the bond they share.

The Fire Horse represents powerful change and momentum within the lunar cycle, yet in this painting that force is softened through trust and companionship. The gesture between them suggests respect, friendship, and an understanding that the energy of transformation is not something to dominate, but something to walk beside.

Layered watercolor washes allow color to move freely across the paper, creating warmth and luminosity within the horse’s form while Night remains calm and contemplative. The painting holds a sense of stillness and connection—an emotional pause within the larger arc of the Fire Horse story.

This work reflects a moment of relationship, reflection, and quiet strength, where power is balanced by care.
