The Grand Junction Mermaid
The mermaid of Grand Junction rests where two great rivers—the Colorado and the Gunnison converge. She wears a delicate bra of columbines, Colorado’s state flower, across her chest. Wildflowers native to the Rocky Mountain foothills gather around her, a colorful chorus from the local hillsides. A single bee hovers nearby, a small but vital tribute to the pollinators that breathe life into the orchards of Orchard Mesa, just beyond the bend. Behind her, the red cliffs of the Colorado National Monument rise like ancient sentinels to the west, while the Book Cliffs stretch across the eastern horizon—two rugged guardians watching over the rivers and the mermaid at their heart.
This limited-edition giclée print features The Mermaid of Grand Junction, part of my Colorado-inspired mermaid series.
Available in 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 inches, each piece is printed on 100 lb archival cotton paper or archival canvas with a 0.25" white border for easy framing. Prints are unframed and arrive carefully packaged in a protective poly-sleeve, wrapped with care from my studio to ensure they reach you safely.
Every print is a high-quality reproduction of my original watercolor painting—crafted to bring a touch of Colorado magic into your home.
